Spicy Baked Bean Dip

  • 1 large can Frito bean dip
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 pkg DIP with a KICK mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion
  • 8 oz grated cheddar cheese

Mix all ingredients. Place in 2 quart casserole dish and cover with grated cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Spicy Honey Nuts

  • 4 cups mixed nuts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 Tbsp margarine
  • 1 pkg DIP with a KICK mix

Melt honey and margarine together in a large microwavable dish on high for 1 minute. Stir in DIP with a KICK mix, then stir in muts until well mixed. Cook on high for 7 minutes, stirring after each 2 minute intervals. Spread out on a 9 x 15 inch pan to cool, stir and break apart. Store tightly covered.

Mexican Lasagna

  • 1 large bag taco chips, crushed
  • 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb Monterey Jack cheese, grated
  • 2 lbs ground beef, lean
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1 pkg DIP with a KICK mix
  • 1 pint cottage cheese, small curd
  • 1 6 oz can chopped ripe black olives

Cook beef and onion in olive oil. Add tomato sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes. In a bowl, combine sour cream, DIP with a KICk mix, cottage cheese and olives. In a 9 x 13 pan, layer bottom with crushed taco chips. Add half of meat mixture, then pour cheese mixture on top. Add a layer of cheese. Add remaining meat mixture and cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.

Flavored Butters (Basic)

Mix one package of your favorite flavor with one stick of softened butter. Let stand for 30 minutes, then spread on French bread and broil.

Marinades (Basic)

Mix your favorite flavor with olive oil and wine, lemon juice, bbq sauce or soy sauce.

Jambalaya

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 3/4 lb smoked or Polish sausage, sliced
  • 3/4 lb smoked ham, diced
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken, bite sized pieces
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 pkg DIP with a KICK mix
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth or water
  • 2 1/2 cups converted rice (uncooked)

Mix all ingredients together in a large pot and cook until all meats are done and flavors are blended.

Spicy Swiss Steak in a crock pot

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 1/2 – 3 lbs of meat
  • 3 large carrots, diced
  • 3 large stalks of celery, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 pkg DIP with a KICK mix
  • Water
  • 1 quart of crushed tomatoes

Put oil in a heavy pan, add meat and brown on all sides. Put meat in crock pot. Add carrots, celery, onion, green pepper and DIP with a KICK mix.

Pour in 1 cup of water in browning pan and cook loose all the “brown.” Pour over meat and vegetables. Add crushed tomatoes. Add water to cover meat, if necessary. Cover. Cook on high. Great over mashed potatoes!
