Garlic French Dressing

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup oil (of your choice)
  • 1 pkg Garlic Dip Mix
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar (of your choice)

Mix all ingredients together in a jar. Shake well and refrigerate at least two hours before serving.

Golden Garlic Chicken

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 pkg Garlic Dip Mix
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2-3 tsp mustard
  • 1/8 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 6 chicken breasts (dried with paper towel)

Sauté onion until golden brown. Add remaining ingredients, minus the chicken and bring to a boil. Pour sauce over chicken. Bake for an hour and a half at 375 degrees.

Garlic Swedish Meatballs

  • 2 lbs ground round
  • 1 cup corn flakes, crushed
  • 1 pkg Garlic Dip Mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup Ketchup
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cans of mushroom soup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix beef, corn flakes, eggs, soy sauce, Garlic Dip Mix, and Ketchup. Blend well, form walnut size balls for entree, smaller for appetizer. Arrange in shallow pan. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until nicely browned. While baking, combine sour cream, Worcestershire sauce and mushroom soup. Heat until smooth (add milk if needed). Sauce should be like cream or slightly thicker. When balls are browned, drain all grease, important, for it affects delicate taste of sauce. Pour sauce over and bake 30 more minutes. Makes 55-60 for appetizer, 10-12 entree.
